eBookBinder 1.12.9 released

eBookBinder 1.12.9 is now available on the Mac App Store.
This update from eBookBinder offers various improvements to the internal markup parser for various languages, as well as updates to make it more compatible with macOS26. Plus, the e-book framework has been revamped to better handle metadata insertion. The default CSS has also been updated for better default display.

MultiMarkdown:
- Meta variable case sensitivity is now ignored
- Improvements to TOC generation, which is now enclosed by the corresponding div tag

- Improvements in recognizing footnotes at the end of the text
Markdown, MultiMarkdown, MarkdownExtra
- Minor improvements in handling paragraphs
- Improved underscore markups, which now require a leading and trailing space
- Escaping of opening and closing square brackets is now possible

- Various optimizations in Table of Contents generation
